The Home of Manchester City’s academy sides at U16 and U18 level is currently based at Platt Lane Training Complex This however could likely change in the next few years as talk is that our new owners want to combine the first team and academy sites together to form one brand new state of the art site .

The site has been developed in recent years to better facilitate our young players.

The complex boasts two full size grass football pitches, a full sized Astro-turf pitch and a smaller six-a-side area.

The grass pitches have been re laid to reflect the playing services at COMS and have had sprinkler systems installed. The Dome consists of an indoor astro-turf pitch, a state of the art gym and a newly developed weights room, where the players can often be found building up their muscle strength.

The Sports Lounge is open at home games for spectators to purchase refreshments. Just go through the entrance pictured below and follow the stairs up to the next level and go in the room on your right hand side, those in the know however tend to stay clear of here because prices are a bit on the high side .They tend to go over to The Dome where there are a series of vending machines and the prices are quite reasonable.

Admission to Academy matches is free of charge and there are a limited number of car parking spaces.
