A great start to the season for a new look academy side as they raced into a five goal lead. Harry Bunn gave his side the lead on 7 minutes from the penalty spot after Joan Roman Olle had been upended, he then added a second on 27 minutes and then new signing Alex Henshall, from Swindon Town, had a simple tap in at the far post, for City to go in at the break three goals to the good .

Bunn  got his hat trick on 75 minutes with a well struck shot and was then replaced by Emerick Hippias who scored with his first touch,a header from close range

Arsenal pulled back two  late goals .The first coming from a goal line mishap between Kieran Kennedy and James Wood, the ball crossing the line before being knocked back out to  Martin Angha who then fired home and finally a cross/cum shot from Jeffrey Monakana eluded Wood

Arsenal's side may have been missing some regular players and fielding some first year academy players but lets not take any credit away from City as they also were fielding a number of first year scholars.
