Bottom Blackburn End City's Run
BRFC U18s 3 - 1 MCFC U18s
As always there is a little needle between these two teams and City having some key individuals away on international allowed an always physical Blackburn team to deservedly get the better of
them.
City had taken the lead from a fine strike from Angelos Tsiaklis from the edge of the area in the seventeenth minute. But that was not enough to hold City's unbeaten record this season.
Blackburn equalized at the end of the first half. They then scored the second goal early in the second half before wrapping the game up in the ninetieth minute.
With Everton managing a draw away to Liverpool; it means we stay top on goal difference.
City now face Crewe at home next Saturday at 11am at Platt Lane.
City: Hartley(GK), Trippier, Morris, Mee, Ramsey, Tsiaklis, Marshall(Chantler), Ibrahim, D Ball, Mak(Cieslewicz), Poole(Cunningham).
Subs: Robinson.
The U16s reversed the U18s score line by winning three one.
