Greg began his soccer career at Cregmore F.C. at the tender age of six and demonstrated that he had both the skills and the temperament to be very successful in the game of soccer.

 

Greg and his twin brother Daniel moved to play with Mervue United

 

His Grandfather (Matthew Lee) played professional football for Kilmarnock and also played for Ireland.

Greg Started as a forward when he initially joined City's academy set up, then he went to left wing before being asked one day to fill in at left back. He is the 30th academy graduate to play for the first team, when in January 2010 he made his senior debut in the FA Cup at Scunthorpe, also during the 2009/2010 season Greg found himself in the ROI senior side.
