Gunnar NielsenJOINED TRANMERE ROVERS ON LOAN JULY 2010
Born in Torshavn in the Faroe Islands, Neilsen was signed by Blackburn Rovers for a 'small' but undisclosed fee from BK Frem. He joined Motherwell in the Scottish Premier League on a six month loan in August 2008.
He then joined Manchester City on a two and half year contract in February 09 and shortly afterwards went on loan to Wrexam but returned after sustaining a thumb injury
An injury to first choice keeper Shay Given meant that Gunnar was able to make his one and only appearance for the first team against Arsenal
