Llanelli born, Emyr Huws is a former pupil of Rishworth school. He has represented his home nation at U17 level and has had the honour of being made captain.

 

Formerly with Swansea City, Emyr made a number of appearances for City's U16 side last season before joining the academy in the summer of 2009.
