Scott is from the Denton area of Manchester and is a lifelong City fan. He was spotted by club scouts playing in a schoolboy tournament.
Scott was part of the Manchester City youth team that won the FA Youth Cup in 2008 as well as the City junior side that won the Nike World cup at U14 level.
He is a central midfield player and counts his best attributes to the game as being, his passing and the ability to break up opposition attacks.
