City came from two nil down away to Leeds at Thorp Arch, Leeds; their first team and academy training ground. City pressed heavily in the second half from being two nil down at half time and had a few chances to win it as well. Both City goals were scored by Daniel Sturridge, his first from the spot after Kelvin Etuhu was fouled in the box. Sturridge’s second goal came in the eighty seventh minute, from a good downward header at the back post, from a deep cross by Curtis Obeng on the right. This was City first game that they have dropped points this season, but Alex Gibson & Jim Cassell must be pleased that they showed the character to come back from two nil down.
