City Hold on to the Three Points

MCFC Reserves 1 - 0 LUFC Reserves

Unlike three weeks ago City held on to the three points when at Leeds, City conceeded an equalizer within a few minutes of scoring. City's goal came from a short inswinging from Willo Flood and Antoine Sibierski jumped to the ball before the out-rushing goalkeeper, Mark Wilberforce, could get there and Antoine headed the ball into the corner of the net.

Leeds were protecting a good unbeaten run and gave City a good game by forcing Nicky Weaver into some good saves and put him under pressure from some good crossing. Wilberforce as well had to be alert to produce a couple of fine saves from Ishmael Miller and Bradley Wright-Phillips late on.

City travel to Newcastle this evening hoping that they can still claim a top three place after last weeks humiliation against United.
