Whilst watching the cademy at Derby we gleamed some information we had not heard before
We had been asking for sometime about the whereabouts of Bradley Robinson, well apparently he is on trial at Derby and had a fantastic game for them the other week, it was also mentioned that Derby had taken a keeper on emergency loan cover, just turns out it was Tom Halsall from City
Several fans also confirmed that the central league cup final will be at City, but probably pre season and one bloke asked could his lad join City has he had been told the academy were going to South Africa pre season.
Luke Coulson appeared at right back for Burnley reserves the other night in their match at Tranmere Rovers, although if anything is to come out of the trial, things are not clear as it is believed Luke will be moving to the USA to study and play soccer along with potentially two other City academy players.
MANCHESTER City academy defender George Swan will be joining Norwegian Premier League side Strømsgodset on a month’s loan at the end of the season.
“It will be great to play some part in the [Academy League] play-offs before then and get more game time under my belt.
The central defender’s immediate plans are to help City’s youngsters win the FA Premier Academy League, in which they need only three points from their final three games against Derby County, Crewe Alexandra and Stoke City to secure a place in the play-off semi-finals.
However, Swan will also have a June loan at Strømsgodset to look forward to and the tantalising prospect of playing in the top flight of Norwegian football.
The former Leeds United academy player explained: “I will be going to Norway for three or our weeks in June and I am hoping that I will play in a couple of friendlies during the summer break and maybe even get a chance of playing a league game.

PREMIERSHIP title chasers Manchester City have confirmed they will send a team to mark the official opening of Colwyn Bay's newly completed stand. Delighted chairman Bob Paton has now had written confirmation from the Etihad Stadium club that they have agreed to play a pre-season game at Llanelian Road's Red Lion Foods Stadium in August, although a final date has yet to be decided
It remains to be seen what sort of side they send, but hopefully there will be a few familiar names and the Seagulls are hoping that will attract a good crowd as City, currently three points behind neighbours Manchester United in the race for the Premiership title, have a strong following in the North Wales area.
