Academy contracts

It was decision day on wednesday(17th) for who would be joining the academy and who would not be

For reasons of confidentiality, no names will be mentioned(although we know them)

But at Under 16 level, 6 players have currently been offered scholarships, whilst 3 have not and one of those is believed to be joining a London club which has connections with a department store.

At Under 18 level, currently 3 players have received the news that their contracts will not be extended. One of them of Irish heritage will however be joining a big scottish club on a 3 year deal.

Tsiaklis joins non league team

Angelos Tsiaklis, a former academy and reserve player at City, who then went to Wrexham has this week joined FC United of Manchester

Defender Joins Barnsley on loan

City defender Kieran Trippier has joined Barnsley on a one month loan deal,

 Trippier has yet to make an appearance for City’s first team but was included amongst the substitutes for the recent FA Cup game at Scunthorpe.

Reserve Game Off

Was it on ,was it off, that is the question that has been going round all today.

Ring Altrincham, they say its off and being played at City, Ring City and they tell you its cancelled, Ring United they tell you its on at Altrincham.

So which is/was right, answer get somebody who is not really interested in football to ring up and ask.

So one of our team ring Manchester United and believe it or not, they got straight through to Ole Gunnar; who says they are trying to get the game back on and there will be a pitch inspection at 3pm

3 PM the game is off, a wise decision as I doubt City would have been able to name a full team of 11 players, with many out on loan and others in Abu Dhabi
