David Gonzalez has joined Leeds United on loan until the end of the season

 

Yeovil Town announced the signing on  youth loan of midfielder Andrew Tutte until the end of the season, but interestingly they also said his departure marked the end of almost a decade of association with City. So it looks as though he has gone permanently.

 

David Ball has also left City after being at the club since the age of nine as

Peterborough United ther City striker l for an undisclosed fee. Ball has agreed a two-and-a-half year contract at London Road

There are unconfirmed reports in the SCOTTISH SUN that CELTIC have issued a 'hands off' warning for Islam Feruz amid fears that megabucks Manchester City are trying to nab the 15-year-old Somalian wonderkid.

SunSport understands Feruz was whisked away by City officials after flying into Manchester with the rest of the Scotland Under-17s squad 12 days ago.

 

(26/01/2011)-Guidetti to sign new contract??

Manchester City's young Swedish striker John Guidetti has stated that he is contemplating signing a new three-year deal at the Eastlands club.

The former Brommapojkarna player wants to stay at the club but has reportedly become unsettled due to the amount of strikers City are buying.

The 18-year-old, whose contract runs out in the summer, told Swedish website fotbollskanalen.se: "I want to fight on the same terms as everyone else.
"They offered me a three-year contract in the first team pretty recently, and it is of course incredibly large.

Here at MCRAAA we have received a couple of unconfirmed reports that City have offered Uwe Rosler some kind of role at the academy. It is believed that he will be helping/coaching the clubs young strikers but for how long, that is yet to be known

Manchester City right sided reserve and England youth player Javan Vidal has gone out on loan to league two leaders Chesterfield until February 26th. Vidal's prospects at City are pretty slim with many right sided players in front of him in the first team squad and so it is up to him to make an impression at Chesterfield or he could see a burgeoning professional football career slipping through his fingers.

Omar Elabdellaoui has broken a metatarsal so will be missing for a few weeks.

Ahmed Benali is recovering from his ankle surgery and is now back running.

Sean Tse is continuing his recovery from his knee problems

Skysports are reporting that City are set to recall Ryan McGivern from his loan spell at Walsall.

Frozen out at Manchester City, winger Karl Moore was Irelands outstanding player as an Irish XI secured third place at the FIFPro Winter Tournament in Oslo recently.

Moore,  attracted plenty of attention from the dozens of Scandinavian scouts and coaches in attendance.

Released by City last summer after a serious back injury, he played the second half of the season at UCD but has since struggled to find a club.

Ghanaian teenager Razak Nuhu is on the verge of convincing Manchester City reserves coach Andy Welsh to offer him a deal at Eastlands.

Nuhu, who turns 20 in May, has been on trial at the English Premier League side for close to two months and has reportedly impressed the technical team of the reserves side.

The Aspire Academy’s left-back physical presence and technical qualities has scored him full marks.

Motherwell manager Stuart McCall is keen to improve his squad by signing Manchester City winger Donal McDermott on loan for the rest of the season

 

City's director of football Brian Marwood is quoted as saying "We are looking to get Donal out on loan to continue his development. This is a good option for him and it's up to the player to see if he wants to go."

Swindon forward David Ball has returned to Manchester City at the end of his six-month loan spell with the League One club

Ball scored three goals in 21 appearances, 12 of which came from the bench, and manager Danny Wilson is now in the market for a replacement.

"David's going back to Manchester City," Wilson told STFC Player. "I think it's sensible really because he's not been starting games.

"He's been fantastic for us, a great lad to have around but if he's going to be sat on the bench then it's not really productive from his point of view.

"I think he needs to be playing games, possibly go somewhere else where he is guaranteed games, which is fine

Manchester City are leading a three-club race to sign Scottish prospect Jack Grimmer.

The 16-year-old became the youngest player in Aberdeen's history when he made his debut in April 2010, coming on as a substitute against Rangers.

The teenage utility player has now made two appearances in the Scottish Premier League and is captain of Scotland's Under-17 side

(03/01/2011)-Brazilian keeper to join City?

Manchester City have invited Brazil youth international goalkeeper Luis Guilherme to train with them.

The 18-year-old made a similar move to Arsenal when he was just 15 but returned home to sign a professional contract until 2015 with Botafogo.

Guilherme will work with City’s youth team and insists his focus is on improving rather than attracting a transfer bid, but there is no date set for his recall.

‘I want to make the most of it,’ he said. ‘If there is the possibility of a transfer, I’ll be happy. I want this to be a new chance to gain experience at another football school and experience a different culture.’

The 6ft 1in keeper, who has represented Brazil up to Under-17 level, believes he will have no problems fitting in at Carrington after his experience with the Gunners.
