Swiss International Freddie has passed his medical at what his agent has tweeted as being 'the worlds greatest club'.

 

So of course the MUEN run a story that he has joined Manchester United, to which his agent tweets they have jumped the gun and that he is knackered after his journey back from Liverpool, maybe there is a clue there as to whom Freddie has joined

Manchester City are keeping tabs on Holland's latest teenage sensation Jeroen Lumu.

The 16-year-old Willem II striker became the youngest player to score on his debut in Dutch league football on Friday when he came off the bench to notch the equaliser against FC Eindhoven.

The Netherlands Under-17 star is considered the most exciting talent in Holland right now and is already being tagged a 'wonderkid', despite making just two league appearances.

BURNLEY have completed the signing of Ben Mee on a three-and-a-half-year deal –

 

The defender had been in talks over personal terms after Burnley agreed an undisclosed fee with Manchester City.


The Clarets have converted Mee’s season-long loan into a permanent deal after the 22-year-old yesterday put pen to paper on a deal that will keep him at Turf Moor until the summer of 2015.

17-year-old ‘keeper Ashley Frith who came through the Blackburn Rovers and Manchester City academies before joining Glossop where he was a regular before Christmas, has joined Hyde FC. He joins the club as backup to first choice stopper Dave Carnell, who has been an ever-present so far this season.

MCRAA sources tell us that Jose Angel Pozo, of Real Madrid signed for City yesterday(13/1), although this has not yet been confirmed. Pozo was at Platt Lane this morning watching City's under 16 side defeat Everton, with both goals coming from another signing, Marco Lopez.

 

Pozo was with his mum & dad, and what was possibly a younger brother .He had a grey hoodie on covered by the standard City coat all possible players seem to be issued with

City have announced that they have cancelled the contract of reserve keeper David Gonzalez.


The 29-year-old Colombian shot-stopper joined the club in 2009 after a successful trial but never made a competitive appearance for City.

Manchester City have sold youth prospect Chris Chantler to Carlisle.

Chantler, who can play on the left side of defence or midfield, had been on loan at Carlisle until January 2.

And Carlisle manager Greg Abbott has struck a deal with City for the 21-year-old, who has penned an 18-month deal at the club.
