Unfortunately we will not be able to give you a full report as we will all be attending the 'Manchester Derby'. However as soon as we receive details we will update the site

It was to be a difficult game for City’s academy side, although going into the game on the back of a six game unbeaten run. They were up against a Forest side that had not lost in eighteen games and who were also looking for the last few remaining points they required to wrap up pole position in Group D of the academy league.

First half goals from Tom Mullen and Danny Meadows set Forest on the road to victory, City pulled one back just before the half time break. The two goal advantage to the home side was however restored on 56 minutes when George Thompson scored.

City made it 3-2 five minutes from the end, but it was not enough to prevent Forest from taking one further step to securing the title in their section.
